Established in 1996, WineBid is the largest online auction for fine and rare wines, with more than 80,000 registered bidders. As an organization with an eye for quality, Winebid turned to the award-winning design team at Catalysis to build a user experience that optimized their new online bidding platform.

Intuitive search filters and user-based tools
We developed visual concepts and data architecture options to intuitively display useful search filters and logical results, along with user-based order and account administration tools. Catalysis led the Winebid team through several audience-based discovery exercises as we created story boards, drafted instructional copy, and refined imagery before tying it all together within several tutorial videos posted within the re-designed property.
Functionality that’s as fine as the wine
The successful launch received rave reviews as the wine buying audience enjoyed the new tools and visually pleasing imagery.
