Simplified design for an easier path to purchase
To help Banner compete in search, we started with their website - Creating a simplified user flow and SEO-friendly data architecture allowing Banner to surface products based on promotions, and customer search behavior.
With a conversion-ready site in place, we evolved Banner’s advertising plan to include deeper penetration into search with pay-per-click, and added representation in MSN Market. We then integrated their previously disparate print efforts with their digital strategy, using 2-D barcodes allowing smartphone users to easily obtain information about Banner Mattress products, promotions, or locations.
Increased profitability through the right marketing mix
The overall advertising mix was constantly monitored and refined as we helped the Banner Mattress team significantly increase the effectiveness of their digital footprint. Working with Catalysis, Banner enjoyed a 30 percent increase in organic web traffic and a 38 percent increase in conversion, not to mention a stream of qualitative evidence in the form delighted brick and mortar customers, who identified Banner's newest advertising campaign as the reason for their visit.
