Turning complex technologies into simple ads
In 2008, Microsoft Azure was released and hasn’t slowed down since. With more than 200 products and cloud services, the cloud computing platform is designed to build, run, and manage applications that help solve tech challenges today, and in the future.
From late 2021 through 2023, we were tasked to create consistently branded assets for Azure’s social media channels in order to drive traffic to specific landing pages and increase awareness of various Azure products and services. The overarching theme had to support the Azure brand, while also providing short copy snippets that offer a reason to believe for each specific product or service being promoted. This can be seen as an art – taking overly complex technologies and breaking them down into bite-sized sentences, conveying how they’ll benefit the generalized developer audience.
Teamwork was key to moving each project efficiently. For the over 60 social ads we created, we met with up to 15 different subject matter experts to ensure the copy and design would speak to the targets. Our clients were extremely happy with this process and looked forward to our collaboration meetings and thinking behind how to market complex technologies in a condensed format.
