The good kind of Hazy Summer
Redhook Brewery has been innovating craft beer in the PNW since the 80s. As they were preparing to release their latest, Hazy Big Ballard IPA, the Brand team needed help bringing their initial designs to life, on a quick turn. The challenge: with outdoor beer-drinking season around the corner, we needed to get this project designed, tested and onto the press pronto.
From refining the water illustration to the typography study to the logo lockups on the wrap, our design team ensured the latest bold “PNW-Style Hazy” brew would jump off the shelves while staying in line with Redhook’s family of beers. In under 14 days and many, many virtual meetings later, this eye catching can was ready to print and exceeded our client’s expectations.
Because Redhook was so pleased with how we brought the initial design to life, our relationship has grown with more opportunities to help the AB/InBev owned brewery. We ended up winning a new project they had in the works: naming and designing their recently released lager. And we’ll also be helping with another launch in 2022, along with marketing support for the full Big Ballard line of IPAs.
